Maskarade is located in the Yakima Valley in Washington
State. We began showing in 1991 and, in 1994, initiated
a breeding program using BISS Ch. Alcinta's Rajun Cajun as our
foundation. We have been mentored by the best--
the Kittles, the Davises (Oklahoma), the Cornmans (Arizona)
and, recently, the Dalakians (New Jersey). Diverse elements of
Karnovanda, Rashaun, Nailutchij, Gerick, and Alcinta are
combined in the "Maskarade Siberian."
Maskarade strives to produce a sound, healthy,
moderate-sized Siberian Husky of correct, friendly
temperament, with the goal that each litter be an improvement
over our last. In conformation choices, our first priority is
a balanced, clean-moving, correct Siberian. We work hard to
avoid perpetuating (and towards hopefully eliminating) genetic
problems in the breed.
We
believe strongly in educating potential Siberian owners.
Literature and information are offered to insure the best
possible placement when a pup or dog leaves our home. Pets are
sold on limited registrations. We often have older, loving
animals available. No dog leaves here unless we are assured
that it will be part of a loving, bonding, nurturing
environment.
Inquiries about
litters, the progress of our youngsters, purchasing pups
and/or young adults etc., are welcome
